Lacrimal Surgery for Persistent Tearing

Excessive watering or tearing of the eyes can be a result of different conditions. At times, it may be due to a problem with the surface of the eye or the eyelid position. For some, it may be a symptom of a problem with the tear drainage system. Dr. Morales can assess for a tear duct obstruction in the office.

Some patients may be a candidate for surgery, including bypassing the tear drainage system. Tear drainage surgeries are performed at an outpatient surgery center.
